Hi,

I'm with Magnet entertainment and my BB comes in via fibreoptic cable. I rang Magnet to ask them for advice on what kind of wireless router I should get and I was informed that I need one specifically for a fibreoptic line in. I was only ever aware of ASDL and DSL routers. I popped down to Peats and Maplin today and neither of the shops stock said router.

Anybody got any help!?!? Somebody in a Magnet serviced estate perhaps!?!?!?

Thanks, P.

You need to find someone in Magnet who knows that they are talking about:rolleyes:. Anyway... Assuming you already have a 'modem' from them with a RJ45 output, you need a bog standard 'broadband wireless router' that is one that takes a RJ45 input (without ADSL, DSL or cable input) and connect it to your existing modem. The fun startes when you have change setting to get them to work properly.
