My OH had a pension with her previous employer where she finished work about 2 years ago.
There have been no contributions since she left so I was wondering what options she has in terms of Buy out bonds. If I search for this I can see lots of options for different firms offering BOB but it is difficult to see what the fees incurred are.
I was wondering if anyone has ever documented a list of options & associated costs - maybe it is not that simple but all I want to know is what the options are.
Currently there are no pension scheme where she works so we were looking at creating a PRSA for her, again I was wondering what the options might be.
I have gone to a few websites who offer the option to create a PRSA but the charges are not clear. Obviously the next step is to call a few of them which I will do but anyone who has gone through this process recently that might have some advice would be greatly appreciated.
