ETFs as part of pension

Hi all, few questions re: ETFs within a pension

I have a Synergy executive pension which I stopped paying into a few years ago. It allows me to trade shares and ETFs through Stocktrade which I want to start doing. I'm probably going to go with ETFs that track the S&P, European stocks and emerging markets. What's the position with tax within a pension? I gather you pay CGT for the US and income tax for Euro domiciled funds in normal circumstances. Are dividends subject to tax in a pension situation? Basically I'm just trying to decide between Euro or US funds - or is this irrelevant as its sheltered by the pension vehicle? Also Stocktrade allow you to trade everything in Euros so does this mitigate currency risk? Or am I better to trade in base currency of fund? Any other opinions on ETFs in a pension greatly appreciated.

Thanks
ftc

No tax implications if it's in your pension. No need to go for CGT instruments or concern yourself with domicile of funds. Just pick whatever funds you like.
