ETF Domicilation - Ireland, Euroland or USA?

Hi
When buying ETF funds, is it better to buy funds whcih are domiciled in Ireland, in Europe or in USA?
I am thinking about this from two perspectives.
1) Irish tax on capital gains on the ETFs
2) In the event of a Euro 'crash', would it be better to have a nonEuropean domiciled fund?

Have been advised that European domicile is better than non Europe (not matter if Ireland).

In terms of the € crashing what matters most is the currencies in which the underlying securities are denominated.
