I'm just getting my finances into order for next year, having just paid off my mortgage. I've got a small surplus of about 5000 euro. Myself and my beloved are planning the proverbial trip of a lifetime down to Oz in early 2009 and I thought I'd write off the 5000 for that purpose. Any suggestions as to where I might get the best interest over the next 12 months?
