Directory putting money into Ltd. company account

Hey,

As a director and employee of a Ltd. company, can I put my own personal money into the company to be withdrawn again later? The company needs to pay for something and there isn't enough cash in the company account at the moment. If possible, are there any consequences to this?

Yes you can put in a directors loan to the company and can draw this back whenever funds are available. No tax implications provided that it is clearly an above board transaction.
