I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right thread, so sorry if I haven't.
Our house is very old and needs extensive work. The council have said they will build a house on our land if we sign the land over to them. We will then rent the house from them with an option to buy after a year.
I just wondered if anyone has had this done and if so how did you get on with the process.
