I know this is probably in the wrong forum as its to do with the UK but I didn’t know where to post the query please feel free to move

My friend was working in the UK last year for the summer and wants to claim her tax back because she was on emergency tax the whole time. She got a letter from the revenue but its seems to be for people still residing in the UK.

Has anyone done this and what does she need to do to claim the tax back??

She should complete a Tax Return Form.
This can be found on the HMRC website.

The forms she needs to fill in are Form SA100 and SA109, and send them to her UK tax office.
