Hi all,

I need to lodge a large cheque approx 50K into Bank tomorrow morning - I'm hoping it will clear before the long weekend - anyone know how long it will take - will be lodging to AIB account.

it depends on what bank the cheque is drawn on? If its AIB it will take only a few days to clear and funds will be available over the weekend.

Have had AIB to AIB cheques clear instantly, but could be different for such a large sum.
There would be an increased delay if the cheque is from another bank.
