Recently i had a call from a person from Electric Ireland who wished to check on my details of energy supplier. He enquired if i paid by Direct debit, online billing etc and in passing i told him he should have been aware of this. He had proper identification. Eventually i asked him precisley what he wanted and he said he wanted to ensure i was getting all benefits. Eventually i signed some papers and what has resulted is that i have changed my gas supplier to Electric Ireland. I know i should have carefully read what i was signed and would have probably done so in any event as there is a 6% benefit on the gas bill. However in all our chat thischange of supplier was not mentioned.
