Capital Gains Tax Query [CGT]

Several years ago, I sold off all my bank shares after the crash, making a nice loss. I didn't do a return of this CGT loss to the revenue. I haven't offset these losses against any shares sale.

Question: I'm now planning to to sell further shares in 2017 at a profit, can I offset the past loss I incurred on the bank shares against the profit I make on the current sale?
