CAMEDIA C-460 ZOOM del Sol

I have a CAMEDIA C-460 ZOOM del Sol camera.
I have 2 memory cards for it but one keeps saying i need to format the card from the computer but it was working and now isnt. I want to be able to take some pics when i go away for a few days. can anyone help?The memory cards are "olympus XD picture card 16mb/256mb

What exactly do you mean? What, if any, error messages do you get (on camera and/or computer) and what problems do you experience? Perhaps the card is simply knackered?

You're not going to get much on a 16MB card anyway. I would consider a card that small practically useless.
