We are planning to start a company to import furniture, kitchens and matresses to Ireland. I was wondering whether any of the forum readers could know places that could help you starting a wholeselling company in Ireland, like commerce chambers, or guvernment agencies specialized in help companies that want to import goods and stuff like that.

The Dublin Cty Enterprise Board (www.dceb.ie), if you are located in Dublin or whatever your local enterprise board is should be able to help you, they run courses for business owners and start ups.

Perhaps also try go to some networking meetings, meet people in similar trades who might let slip some secrets or other information.
