BTEA can I Qualify

Hey, my previous employer let me go on the 14 of september but has paid me three weeks wages since (holiday pay and week in lieu). I want to know if I will qualify for BTEA next year if i am unsuccessful in finding a job.The couse starts on the 5-09-07
Also can anyone tell me if I am entitled to payments of jobseekers allowance from the 14th of september or is it from the date of the last payment from my employer

Does anyone have any idea how to qualify for the National Employment Action Plan?

I take it you have checked the BTEA rules as suggested and have seen the "9 month" rule which may suit your situation. You should talk to Fas about this. A little flexibility may be required to fit the criteria. Meantime have you signed on for Jobseekers BENEFIT if you have enough PRSI payments in the relevant year (2005). Otherwise sign for Jobseekers Allowance(Means Tested). You should be eligable from October 4th onwards if you signed on before October 1. Otherwise sign on Immediately
