Bridesmaid pressie??

Hi all - im bridesmaid (1 of 4) to my best friend in December. I have never been a BM before so alla this is new to me. Can anyone tell me whats teh standard procedure for their wedding gift? They have a wedding list - but I was wondering is it ok for me to buy from that, or is something more "special" expected from me due to the role I play in their big day? Thanks a mill lads.

I don't think anything extra is expected of you ... usually the bride gives you a present to recognise the effort you put into making her day special ... think of yourself as a guest and go with the present of your choice.
