Bonus factored into redundancy calculation?

Hi All,

A general question. If you are made redundant in work and receive 3 week+statatory for each year of service what is used to calculate the redundancy? If you received a bonus each year is that added to your salary for the calculation?

The 3 weeks severance per year that the company provide is discretionary and so you would need to check with hr the policy, but the standard would be the current base pay, excluding any bonus.

If you mean the SCBC calculation, then my memory of this is its the prior 3 years total pay, which includes all bonuses, you can see this on each year end statement, the amount that you pay USC on
