Hi I need to send a deposit for a holiday to someone in England whats the best and cheapest way to do it I have their bank account number and it has to be in sterling.
It all depends on your banks charges. The two options I'm aware of are to do a transfer (SWIFT I think), but this is relatively expensive. The cheaper option is to get a sterling draft (a check drawn on a UK bank) and pop it in the post. Don't think you have any comeback with this option if something goes wrong.
