Just looking for some advice. About 3 years ago I was unable to repay a credit card and it became a bad debt of around 4500. I've a low income while doing further study so have only been able to repay about 1000 of that so far. Just wondering how this debt will affect me in the future. I have a decent chance of getting work soon as I've finished studying. Say I managed to repay the full deby by mid-next year, will it ever be possible for me to get a mortgage in the future? Or is my credit history damaged forever?
