Back To Work Entitlements

Hey Guys,

I might have the possibility of going back to work on a 6month contract after been on JA for over 10months.

My question is related to what entitlements you still get.! I know that if i was lucky enough to get the job that I potentially wouldnt get paid for 4weeks as in line with monthly payroll.! So meaning if I left JA I would be without payments for 4weeks.!

Is there some kinda back to work entitlement where you still signon an receive payments until your official payday with employer.?

With JA, you must sign off when you start work, and you will only receive any payments due up to that date.

Depending on your circumstances, if you are without wages for the first month, you may be entitled to Supplementary Welfare Allowance. You can contact the CWO at your local health centre for more information. They would require evidence from the employer that you will have to wait several weeks for pay.
