Anglo Irish Bank - rate drops

Still excellent rates in fairness though. (still best on the best buys list)

The premium demand is still a full percentage point above Northern Rock.

Also if I recall correctly the northern rock rates were dropped prior to the last ecb rate cut

Regular saver rate has dropped to 6.50%.

1 Year 4.40%
2 Years 3.50%
3 Years 3.50%
4 Years 2.64%
5 Years 2.86%

Instant access account is now 4.25% up to 100,000 EUR and 3.80% on entire balances over 100,000 EUR

This is still a best buy.


This did have to happen but they are still all highly competitive rates.
