I am a PAYE worker and Occasionally I Guest lecture on a part time basis, paid directly. This can involve driving considerable distances. Can anyone advise me if I can claim for stationary, mileage/meals against tax.
You can claim these expenses against the tax on your lecturing income, only if you declare this income on an annual tax return to the revenue and this income was not paid to you under the paye system.
