I have two accounts with AIB - a personal and a joint account. The personal one was set up in 1997, the joint one in 2006. My joint account shows the balance online net of any outstanding Laser transactions but my personal account shows the balance gross of any Laser transactions. I called AIB phone banking to try and get this changed (I would like to know what my balance is net of outstanding Laser transactions) but all they said was it was something to do with the way the account was set up and this can't be changed. Does anyone have any further insight into this? Thanks.
