Hi all,

Here's a specific query but some of you might know the answer. I've tried to get an answer from Cork Co. Co. but no joy.

Has anyone heard anything about when the affordable houses in Inis Álainn are being offered ? I applied a few months ago for one of the but I've heard nothing yet.... when I phoned two weeks ago, they just fobbed me off and said they had no further information. The houses have been lying empty for months, I thought the Local Authorties were dying to sell them ?! Is anyone else in for one of these houses ?!

Thanks for any info you might have.
 
I've heard that a lot of Part V houses are laying empty as the Council cannot afford to pay the Developer for them.
