Accessing BOI SSIA which is connected to Sp. Bonus Savers Ac.

I opted to start feeding sums from my Bank Of Ireland SSIA into their Special Bonus Saver Accounts at maturity. However there is a bit of an emergency and I need to access a few thousand euro from the SSIA itself. With signing up for the follow-on savings a/c with BOI, have I tied myself into not being able to withdraw from the SSIA? If withdrawal IS possible, how much of a process is involved?
