1p charges on CC

I have been ordering dvds from a well known website. What's strange is they have charged me several 1p transactions as well as my purchases?

Why is this?

I think it's a test transaction.

At the time time, keep an eye on them. I was subject to fraud a while back and there were small transactions made before they went on a spendathon (in some Woolworths store in Australia!). As much as it could be the company in question, it might be a pre-cursor to a duplicate card being made. You can be quite sure that the fraud department of your credit card company are watching these transactions anyway but it might be no harm to query them anyway.

Im not that worried as its a 3v visa debit card, so if they wish to go mad on the 39 cents left in it away with them!
