I am looking to invest 1000 for my child. The roi on the 10yr National Solidarity Bond of 50% seems v good - is there a catch and how safe is money put in this bond or is anything safe these days?
There are plenty of threads on here about the safety or risk to the government solidarity bonds, in a nutshell, I wouldn't put a dime in any of these bonds at least not until the current financial turmoil in this country has stabilised.
