Banks getting tough on Respossesions

Are they??? Is this a one off large amount before the courts? What's the usual amount of such cases before the courts???

A bit of context in an article would be brilliant....

Yes - a property survey/sample, analysis and some context or comparison with recent history might help here alright. Otherwise whose to say that the number of cases mentioned is unusual?

They are happy to give you the money so easily and then when you struggle to pay they won't give you an inch.

There is a lot of media coverage both in Ireland and the UK at present about how easy money is being handed over to people. I would say that this was very true in recent years.

They have to allow a little bit of leeway, considering how much they make off us mortgage payers in interest. Sad that €2000 per month isn't considered a serious offer.

Re-possession cases are nothing new, though maybe the numbers are increasing. I act for a lender and am probably seninding our more threatening letters in the last 6 months than i did before but these are people with a history of non-payment and can't be directly related to the interest rate rises.

Is there anywhere we can see the details of these court cases other than in the newspaper?
