Enagement Ring-Paris or USA?

Re: Engagement rings in Limerick

Folks going to be in Paris shortly. Anyone know any area/spot there they would recommend for engagement rings? Alternatively will be in Chicago/Washington with work for a month in November so with the dollar/euro exchange rate if anyone knows a reputable spot would be great to know.

We looked in Paris - very expensive, so we went up to Antwerp for the day. Lots of very informative threads on this site about Antwerp if you are interested.

If choice is between France and US only, I'd say your Euro will get you more in the US.

i agree with above poster...we went to Antwirp for a night and bought a ring there... great value for money....we bought from harold philippe... coresponded with him by email and phone beforehand.. look at previous threads for more happy customers....
between paris and usa... you will get better value in the usa... do some researach on diamonds and certification bodies before you go, so that you know you are getting good value for your money and a genuine diamond too
