Woodcraft tradesmen - Leinster area

We're looking at getting a custom mantlepiece made - has anyone got any recommendations of woodcraft tradesmen in the Leinster area? Has anyone done this kind of thing before? It's to match a custom made stone fireplace so we didn't want a standard plain mantlepiece, would prefer one that is a bit more natural looking.

This should be well within the capability of any carpenter/ joiner. In fact you might do better yourself if you source a nice bit of reclaimed timber for the job. Don't use old railway sleepers- they will release creosote with heat and time. But if you could source an old timber beam this could be converted to a very nice mantle. If you look at Interiors magazines etc you can get some great ideas.
