Solicitor Advice

I've just agreed a price for my first home. I need some advice on choosing a solicitor for the purchase. Ideally they would be inexpensive and efficient. I understand that this is everyones ideal situation but wsa hoping that people here would be able to recommend a solicitor from previous dealings. Cheers.
