The forum 'investments' has key posts on financial advisors so it looked like this thread being the right place to put my query.

Where my post now? Where should it be?

Also why are some threads moved into the correct forum and others simply closed?

I feel it would be best for you to post you query in the Recommendations for professional advisors forum.

All the administrators/moderators/contributors contribute their time voluntarily to AAM and it can be time consuming. To be quite truthful some have the patience for constantly having to move posts and others do not.
