Very upset - Job seekers allowance?

So I'm having a bad time -

I don't know where to post this and it might be a bigger issue then just an unsure as I'm beyond upset and anger at the whole thing.

I was on the dole for a few years and last week through the net I got a job via the phone, started working etc on Monday and yesterday I heard that it will not be continuing – not only that but I will not be getting paid.

I mistook the original position as I had then thought I would be given the work, they took me on as self employed (I just sent the tax form to the revenue) and they and originally mentioned that at the end of the week if they were happy with my work then I was to send them a invoice and they'd forward my money so I don't know where I stand with that..

So after I closed my claim (as although I was not getting paid for it I was not available for work – so I shouldn't of being claiming) I went down today and I've to fill out the form all over again

So... what do I put on the form? My last employer who isnt going to pay me as they never offically took me on, or the one before that?

I feel like such a freaking idiot for falling for what now looks like an obvious scam but money is tight and I've little to no support not to mention a weeks lost benefit – very depressed and upset right now as I'm barely staying afloat, so if anyone could help me I would deeply appreciate it

Thank you

Tina

I agree with Orma, talk to your welfare officer and explain the situation.
