Summer holiday in Iceland.

I was there in 1999. Think it was mid August for 3 weeks. Its very expensive but thats the only negative. Lots to see and do (whale watching, glaciers, geysers, waterfall, skidoing etc). Drove around the whole perimeter road and some 4x4 inland. Camped for most of the time and this is a cheap option but bring a 4 season sleeping bag. I didnt and spent my 1st night freezing. Bought a 4 season bag the following morning. Enjoy.

Hiya Onway,
I booked flights to Stansted (London) myself but booked the flights to Iceland with an Icelandic travel agency (Samvinn Travel) over the phone. I booked everything else myself (car hire, campsites etc) through either phone or internet. Like everywhere in Europe, they speak great English.
