Property next door for sale. Interested but best approach ?

Thanks for thoughts. If we were now in pre Covid times I reckon this property would sell for 190k. It's guiding 175k so the house has a Covid price built in.

Property next door for sale. Interested but best approach ?

A house in a very good rental location has come on the market next door to an investment property we own. The vendors know me in passing and some of my family. What is the best approach in showing interest. Would it be best to declare my name to their estate agent or use some outside friend...

    Withdrawals from ARF and taxation

I understand pension provider deducts tax from distributions. In order to ensure only 20% is deducted (as all sources of income are below 20% threshold) rather than 40% do I just send the provider a tax credit cert in advance which I received from Revenue ? Does the provider deduct PRSI and...

If the latter couldn't it be open to collusion between the bank individual I am dealing...

Purchase Investment Property with Fixtures & Fittings

Thanks. But I'm unclear as to whether the Fix & Fit element of the 200k property (whatever amount that is deemed) can be eligible for capital allowances at 12.5% p.a or even if such a thing is possible to split the purchase price in order to claim the 12.5%.

A house has come on the market that I am interested in. At what point should I be looking to get mortgage approval for 70% and not knowing what the house purchase price will be ? Retired at 58. Maximum % withdrawal from pension.

Liam, crystal clear. You made my day.

Retired at 58. Maximum % withdrawal from pension.

Person is aged 57. I see so if pot ARF is 65k and AMRF is 65k and individual needs a total of 13k for say next 5 years to come. I assume this person can take 15% ARF being 9.75k and 4% AMRF being 2.6k each year if so wishes.

Retired at 58. Maximum % withdrawal from pension.

Someone has retired due to ill health and has monies in an ARF/AMRF totalling 130k from a company pension. I think one can withdraw at least 4% of both pots as retired early due to ill health. If that person wishes to withdraw a higher % annually that would all be subject to 20% tax rate is...
