This is encouraging from our perspective. We met broker in Feb 08, when flyer was active. We made a formal application to kbc in April based on our Feb discussions with broker. We signed mortgage contract in may 08, fixed 5 year.

That's unusual because I rang kbc this morning and they said that they still reviewing my account. I fixed in June 08. They are giving this line with the past few months. I have the same special condition in my contract.

I have the version 2 in my documents, I am outside the time frame Nov - Feb cohort, drew down June 08. My account is still under review at this point!!

Peemac, your probably right. Unfortunately for kbc bank the flyer doesn't have an expiry date in print. It could be argued that the 04 July 08 is the obvious expiry, as the tracker product failed to exist after this point. The majority of brokers who traded in 2008 are long gone, therefore the...

Our broker Is out if business with the last 7 years, so it would be difficult for kbc to say that the brocher/flyer wasn't prvoided to us.

Trackers where available up to 4 July 08. We drew down 12 June 08 on a fixed. In relation to the Nov06 - Feb 08 time frame, who is to say that our broker didn't provide us with a copy of the flyer??

Peemac, Thanks for your thoughts. This is the full situation with our account. We drew down our mortgage in June 08 when iib where phasing out trackers, trackers completely gone by 04 July 2008. We fixed for 5 years, with rollover to lenders prevailing variable rate and special conditions...

I'm outside the Feb 08 deadline, but hoping that il be included in the next batch. Trackers where available in June 08, but in a limited capacity, totally gone by 04 July 08. Consider my rollover t+c are the same as doyler1 and rakitom, it appears that a precedent has been set.
