Advice required re: bidding on a property

The house has been on the market since last November. It was priced at 425k. I felt this was very overpriced compared to other houses. Price bothered me and I left it.....it would max me out. My ideal was 370k. It went sale agreed, then this fell through. EA says the potential purchasers...

How are houses being sold with current restrictions?

Just wondering how houses are being sold with current restrictions. Estate Agent said that those 'ready to go with mortgage approval' are making offers from videos of the properties. I'm not sure how this would work as if I were buying a place I'd have to see it in the flesh, but thats me. If...

Best way to transfer Euros to UK bank

The bank (Ulster Bank) told me I could transfer it online in multitudes of 25k, with no reduction in the set currency exchange. I'm not a financial person but even I knew this was not a good option.

Best way to transfer Euros to UK bank

Can anyone advise? I've looked at transfermate and set up an account but I'm not comfortable with doing it myself on a website. Any companies where you can deal with a real person or am I living in the dark ages? It's a very large sum of money from house sale. Thanks.
