Ptsb Mortgage Fixed Rates February 2019

We were in your situation and have since went fixed at 3.7% for 5 years with TSB. Our capital repayments have increased to over half now so that when the 5 year fixed is up we will be switching if affordable. The most any bank would lend us last year was 124k but the loan was 140k so we had to...

ptsb introduces fixed rates for existing customers

I think going the fixed route might be best. Im on MVR of 4.3% Went to Ulster today to switch but they can only lend me 124k based on our income unless house increases in value by 20k. Disappointing but might try AIB too as have account with them and they might be able to loan me full amount...

    KBC cuts Fixed rates

Is it possible to switch to any of these products with just loan = to equity

ptsb introduces fixed rates for existing customers

They can probably back up their fee by saying that the administration of such a thing takes time and they need to pay someone to do it. A toxic bank has to charge for everything or they go bust. Theyd be better off reducing fixed rate to 3.8 and not charging anything but marketing and bank...

    PTSB offer Fixed Rate @ 4.2% ?

Im in the same boat exactly too. Seems theres one set of lower rates for other banks and one set of higher rates for PTSB customers. Is there any chance that PTSB will ever do what other banks are doing and lower rates. No is the definite answer. So in 3 years i will be 90per cent LTV or...

New Repayment Amount due to the changes in Tax Relief

But the Variable Mortgage holders are effectively subsidising the low tracker rates because without us the bank would have found a way to increase those.

    Mortgage rate 'war'

At least everyone can now see that bank PTSB for what they are.

    Mortgage rate 'war'

https://www.rte.ie/news/business/2018/0216/941278-variable-rate-customers-have-some-thinking-to-do/ This one Why would they ignore PTSBs rates in this report
  16. P

    Mortgage rate 'war'

cant as of yet as LTV >90% and prob still negative. But why didnt RTE print them on their report. Surely PTSB are as big a mortgage provider as KBC Also is there any site that shows a lost of the "real" rates for the thousands of borrowers in negative equity and not just the less than 90% LTV ones

    Mortgage rate 'war'

Where are ye getting all these low rates My Permanent TSB managed Variable Rate of 4.3% can be reduced to 4.2% if I go to a Fixed Rate (which im not, yet anyways) But I see you guys are quoting 2.6 and 3%. Then I look at report on RTE website and they are quoting 3% fixed rates and variable...

New Repayment Amount due to the changes in Tax Relief

thankls gnf for your response. Ive given up now on this as you say the Tax Relief was there too long. I dont think the Govt will ever get the banks to lower Variable Rates and TSB have a lower fixed rate for us of 4.2% instead of 4.3% Variable. It will reduce our repayments by 8 euro after...

New Repayment Amount due to the changes in Tax Relief

Incidentally, why haven't you switched to PTSB's applicable managed variable rate? We have at the instance of its availability. I disagree with variable mortgage holders having to "dig" out tracker holders As soon as negative equity is gone on our house we will switch have no fear. Im already...

New Repayment Amount due to the changes in Tax Relief

Yes in Dublin , most of the commuter belt and places like Galway and Cork. Negative equity is fast dissappearing. In most of Connaught (Sligo, Roscommon, lots of Mayo, Leitrim and even some of Galway County), Donegal, Cavan, Longford there are many properties that will never be out of Negative...
