Thanks, I have already reported the issue to the data commissioner. But the bank has corrected the issue. Just gets my back up that they can say 'ah well, we've fixed it now' and walk away.

Central Credit Register - Incorrect information

Hi Jack, Similar-ish issue here. my old bank had been submitting incorrect information to the ICB for a significant amount of time and I was refused credit in the last year because of it. Bank submitted incorrect info to ICB

I received a call from my old bank stating that they had been submitting incorrect information to the ICB regarding an old loan I once had with them. Continued posting the loan as unpaid and outstanding when it no longer had been for a significant time. Any idea what rights I have in this...

yes backdated to date of adjudication in the case of a loan, where an asset is concerned it is cleared once the surrendered asset is sold. AFAIK. that was certainly the case with our house.

Success! I got a mortgage 4 1/2 years after being declared bankrupt

Hi Mike, great news. I'm also with BOI since bankruptcy, we've found them great to deal with. Myself and wife went bankrupt in January 2015 and exited in July 2016. We were recently given credit (card and car loan) this year. A credit card application was declined by them last year, so they...

Key Post Discharged from bankruptcy-My experience.

Ah yes, I remember that...the fear of the postman...as a former bankrupt, also now discharged, I can't say how radically different my peace of mind is...no debt / loans etc. nobody calling or knocking, no threatening letters etc. etc. etc. no home anymore either, but it was definitely worth...

Simple quick question... Once you have been discharged from bankruptcy, can you hold power of attorney for someone? My father in law's solicitor is unsure if my wife can hold it for him or not. Thanks. S

yes you can request your rle's from them. I'm sure you can google the RLE bands too.

    ISI reviews, how often?

Your childcare costs are added on top of the RLE's amount and any other exceptional expenses such as medical etc. I have a calculator sheet but there doesn't seem to be a file attach option here to post it.

Bankrupt and still getting 'phone calls.

If you get any correspondence from creditors pass them immediately to your ISI contact. they will handle any contact. YOu should not have the stress of dealing with creditors.

    ISI reviews, how often?

As Catatrphe states above, they rarely contact you proactively. however, if you're circumstances change and you believe that it could have any effect on an IPA/O contact them immediately. The onus is on you to contact them if your takehome pay changes.
