    AIB/EBS repossessions after long delay

In my friend's situation the bank said that they were fully expecting her to cover the shortfall. All of their costs have been added to her debt. They took control away from her when the property was rented and then they left it dormant and didn't bother doing anything with it. I wouldn't be...

    AIB/EBS repossessions after long delay

Its ridiculous that they didn't bear any of the brunt of leaving it dormant for years.

    AIB/EBS repossessions after long delay

Sorry to hear this. It's really terrible to do this to people who have already suffered a great deal. Do you mind telling me if they chased you for the shortfall?

    AIB/EBS repossessions after long delay

I read an article the other day that a vulture fund who had purchased loans from AIB had started proceedings to gain possession of a number of properties that had defaulted in the recession. Original orders for possession granted +-10 years ago and the properties have been lying dormant for...

    Property Registration

Without going into too much detail, the registry of deeds is an old system that is slowly being replaced by the land registry. It sounds like the title to your property was originally registered with the registry of deeds but has since been registered with the land registry, which is the case...

New employer reneging on new job - have left old job

But presumably the medical is just to check that the OP is *currently* fit and healthy, why would a prior issue from 2 years ago be an issue and thus invalidate a signed contract? Does that then mean that anyone with prior medical issues could also lose job offers because of this? If so then...

Can you buy inhalers over the counter in Spain or do they require a prescription?

    Post-discharge ICB Report

Hi Fresh-Start, My issue was the same as yours in that the property wasn't sold. Then they auctioned off the property while I was in a dispute with them about the ICB report. They still kept saying it wasn't sold, until I showed them evidence that it was sold. Their attitude after this was...

    ICB Report Post-Bankruptcy

That was my issue too ! Part of me wondered why my bank never requested this information in the first place !

    ICB Report Post-Bankruptcy

Mikel My interpretation of that section of the act would be that in the event of the bankruptcy of the borrower, it will not affect the rights of the creditor to sell the asset to realise it's value. I can't see how that then means that they don't have to stop sending the information on to the...

    Credit union loan hell

I think dub_nerd is right - continue paying until it's all paid off and then take the 2k for yourself at the end. I had a friend in a similar situation with a CU debt and they told her they wouldn't offset the shares until it went legal (i.e at the time of issuing proceedings).

    Post-discharge ICB Report

I tried looking it up before but i couldnt find anything specifically stating that they weren't allowed to send the info on once someone is declared bankrupt. It drove me crazy too ! You should start by sending your bank a letter and see what they come back with. Then get the dpc and fso...

    Post-discharge ICB Report

This was my issue. The bank said they would continue sending on the info until the property was sold and they could confirm with my OR that there were no dividends payable. The DPC didn't want to know. The FSO didn't know how to deal with it. Fortunately the property sold this year. Maybe...

    Post-discharge ICB Report

I think the 9 has something to do with the arrears / how many months you were in arrears, from what I have read online. Your report should give an outline of what the different entries mean. Although If you were declared bankrupt then it doesn't make sense for them to put a 9 in there. Has the...

    Post-discharge ICB Report

What's the Scheduled Removal Date of the entry prodigy? Because, although my bank were still sending info onto the icb, as they marked it "pending litigation" 3 years ago it means it automatically falls off my report in 2018 - which is a year earlier than if they were to remove it 5 years from...

    ICB Report Post-Bankruptcy

Hi Matthew I spoke to the ICB about my file the other day and they said that the entry automatically gets removed from my credit report 5 years from the date the bank mark it as Pending Litigation. In my case, I'm actually better off as mine will be removed now in 2018 instead of 2019...

    Post-discharge ICB Report

The data protection commissioner didn't know how to deal with it, neither did the fso, clearly the bank doesn't either. The fso kept liaising with them as kind of a mediator and they eventually said they would change it. They kept saying they didn't have proof that no dividends were payable but...

    Post-discharge ICB Report

I never put my uk address down Prodigy and my debt showed up. And yes in theory you are debt free because you were declared bankrupt but my icb report certainly doesnt reflect that at all. I'm still having issues with my bank over two years later. They finally asked the icb to remove me from...

    Post-discharge ICB Report

Prodigy could the issue be that you don't have any credit history at all?

    ICB Report Post-Bankruptcy

If it was last updated in May 2014 then it sounds correct to me UK_Bound. It stays on your record for 5 years so you cannot get it removed before then - unless of course the bank decides to be very generous one day and remove it for you :)
