Key Post I have a Bank of Ireland tracker – should I consider fixing?

one more question sorry! So in 10 years, (if we do decide to come off the tracker and go on this fixed rate), will we be in a better place as our principal amount will have come down so much that the remaining 8 years won't be as bad even if the rate then is higher?

Key Post I have a Bank of Ireland tracker – should I consider fixing?

Hey, we were leaning towards a fix for 10 years as we are absolutely out of our debt when it comes to economics and figuring out what is best but thought we may be better off with the known, i.e. that our payments will be just under €1,500 per month, we cannot afford to go any higher than that...

Has anyone received refund from Bank of Scotland regarding overcharging on tracker mortgage

We also received our letter but it states in ours "We currently expect to be able to write to you and issue any redress and compensation due by March 2021."... A long wait from their original letter in June. Also I note they have changed the contact details and it isn't Pepper now but Lloyds.

    BOSI transfers mortages to LONESTAR

Thanks for the response. I haven't been able to get hold of my original letter of offer so not sure what the rate is. If they have bought our mortgage which is on a variable rate then can they apply their own variable rate, as it is now a different entity owning the mortgage? We are in...

Bank Of Scotland's Standard Variable Rate

Hi Brendan I am a BOSI customer and have a main mortgage and a smaller top up. My top up is on a tracker rate. The main mortgage which is the more worryingly large one is on a variable rate but the rate is very low, almost as low as the tracker. I have been trying without success to get my...
