Colleague of mine asked me, why has he received summons for unpaid disputed parking ticket received back in 2018 ?? I personally am unsure as it's 4 year ago ? Anyone able to clarify please ? Replies gratefully welcomed.
From what I'am told Brendan she maintains no offence was committed, she was stopped told RTA 1961 section 107...4 weeks later FPN arrives stating RTA 1994 section 35 (5) ? I don't have a definitive answer hence my post ?
Just a Query regarding Section 35 (5) of above mentioned act...sign number RRM 017. Lady in question was stopped when she enquired why ? was told under RTA 1961 section 107... when her FPN duly arrived it stated Not RTA 1961 section 107...but section 35 (5) if RTA 1994 ? any advice to this Lady...
Update 4th June 2021, have been informed by my colleague that regarding parking fine situation, no further action will be proceeding, this was I'm informed confirmed to him by council legal dept !
Certainly will do that Leo, I'm led to believe all road traffic cases will not be called before June/July. So once he gets dealt with will post result.
