    Hi, Opened two regular saver accounts for myself and my wife with Nationwide UK ( Ireland) back in July. The rate was 4%. Received statements today showing a rate change to 3% on 28th September. When I opened the accounts I thought that the rate was locked in. Was I wrong? I suspect that I was.

    As far as I know you can opt to have your credit union deduct tax at source from your dividend or have it paid gross. Either way you should include it in your tax retund.

    Why would you want to move your money to Germany, I dont understand?

    Didnt the euro rise against sterling too? And stay there. Wasnt the value of the euru to sterling around 70c to a £ in 2002?
