VHI VHI One plan renewal due

I would appreciate some help with my renewal.I took out this plan a few years ago, and would like to increase cover.I am on limited means, aged 50 and no health problems.Could anyone advise me of any plans on offer. My present policy ends 21/04/17 I would like some cover for scopes in private hospitals.Thanks

Just to explain, VHI One Plan covers scopes in private hospitals already. Scopes are often carried out as a day procedure which does not
involve an overnight stay. While the procedure itself is fully covered in a private hospital, there is an excess payment charged which is
125 on VHI One Plan.

Alternative plans worth considering would have a lower excess cost(50) for day case procedures in private hospitals, like scopes etc.

1. VHI PMI 43 16; price 1171pa; public, private and hi-tech hospitals covered as before, day case excess 50 per visit, inpatient excess
150 on private admission for surgery or treatment, good day to day cover included.

2. Laya Simplicity; price 1190pa; public, private(including private room) and hi-tech hospitals covered as before, day case excess 50 per visit, inpatient excess
100 x 2 max per year per private admission for surgery or treatment, good day to day cover included - first 100 not allowed.

1. Laya Essential Health 300; price 873pa; all public and private hospitals covered + Beacon Hospital covered.
2. One Plan 250; price 889pa; all public and most private hospitals covered(no special procedures in Hermitage Clinic or Galway Clinic).
3. Select Plus; price 919pa; selected public and private hospitals covered + Beacon hospital covered. (make sure list of hospitals suits your location)

1. Smart Plan 150; price 925pa; selected public and private hospitals covered.
2. Smart Plan 250; price 820pa; selected public and private hospitals covered.
NOTE; make sure list of public and private hospitals suit your location.
