FIS question

I am currently on OPF payment. I am started full time employment in a couple of weeks so my OPF will be cut and I will be applying for FIS. Will they look for bank and savings statements? I want to have them all ready to go. Thanks

From the Family Income Supplement page on welfare.ie

The FIS income test does not assess capital. This includes property you own, bank accounts and cars. The Department of Social Protection does assess income you get from tenants who rent a property you own, it may examine your bank accounts to check for other income sources and it may assess income derived from use of a car that you own (for example as a taxi).

Although savings won't be assessed, it's likely you'll be asked for your bank statements, so no harm to have it ready.
