Management company Responsibilities

Hi,

I have window that's leaking. The water is coming in above the window frame staining the ceiling and causing the wooden window to rot.

Does anyone know who is responsible?

Is it an external issue and there fore the management company of is it myself the property owner?

Windows are typically the property of the owner inc the frame. However unless its a fault with the frame which is unlikely its more likely an issue with another building element or interface.

I agree with Iantus. Unlees your windows are obviously faulty the responsibility rests with management. The least that should bedone is that itis examined by management
