Best photopier/printer for small office

I work part time in a small office. We have an old Xerox photocopier/printer which is on its last legs and I have been tasked with finding a replacement! I am bamboozled with the choice.
I want a standalone one - not a desktop one.
We do about 300 photocopies a week (of an A4 bulletin type sheet, both sides).
Then maybe about 100 pages a week of other print jobs.
Currently only have black and white but colour would be better (currently have to pay for off site colour printing).
We own the current machine (bought in 2000) and pay a metered charge for use. Consumables and service calls are free (presumably included in the initial purchase cost back in the mists of time!).
Can anyone give me a steer in the right direction?

Edited to say that title should read 'photocopier' !!
